Appearance:

Bright, green hair, is the first thing anyone would notice about this child. Spiking around her face, it's pulled back into a short, low ponytail. Two locks of hair refuse to obey gravity and flip up, above her head. She has wide green eyes, and a fair complexion. She is about 4'7" weighs around 68 pounds.

She wears a white and yellow sundress that ties behind her neck and down the back. Beneath it she wears a high necked, sleeve and backless dark blue dress, that is slightly longer than the outer dress. Wide long green bracelets wrap
around her wrists, white round earrings dangle from her lobes and tall white socks come up over her knees. On her feet she wears a pair of chunky green and yellow-beige shoes that are tied with a blue bow.

Personality:

Marona is a cheerful girl with a large heart, despite the hardships she has faced through her life. For a time her cheerfulness and optimism were masks she used to block the hardships out. Through her own hardwork and kind heart, she won the understanding and love of a world that once feared and looked down upon her.

She is extremely humble, especially of her own achievements. She's, unfortunately however, a bit on the gullible side, much of it due to her naieve nature.

Marona will give anyone the benefit of the doubt, being very quick to offer someone her trust. She believes that everyone has good in them. Even those that have hurt her she will still treat with kindness, at her own loss.

She believes heavily in the teachings of her parents - that as long as she is compassionate and kind, people will one day come to like her. Keeping those teachings in mind, she threw herself into helping people despite the cruelty she received from them. However, she was known to use it a few times as an excuse to not stand up for herself when she was being wronged. Not to say that Marona doesn't have a strong will, she does and has learned to use it.

She's a firm believer in trying to do the right thing. When working or just helping out others, she always attempts to do her very best, even if she is unsuccessful.

She was very attached to her lost parents. Despite the company of her guardian, Ash, she has suffered from bouts of loneliness. Luckily she has gained many friends through her adventures. However, she is still fearful of losing Ash.

Abilities:

Marona is a chroma. What's a chroma? It's two things. It's someone with special abilities that usually come to light after a somewhat traumatic event that triggers them. Those with these special abilities are kind of like mercenaries.

A chroma is also a class in society. In Ivoire they're pretty well bottom of the rung.

Her chroma ability is called Chartreuse Gale. This ability gives her a way to see and speak to phantoms, and to be able to confine (sort of summon them) them into the world of the living through objects such as rocks and trees as an anchor to the real world. The phantoms she confines usually have some kind of fighting ability and thus help her fight against monsters and other such foes, as she has little fighting ability herself. However, her ability is not permanent, in fact, phantoms are only able to remain confined for a short amount of time. Some types of phantoms only can remain for a matter of minutes.

However she doesn't hang around the back, Marona's chroma abilities also include the ability to heal. She can use the ability 'Heal', 'Revive' (which revives someone who's been knocked out, and heals them a good deal), and 'Espoir' (which removes the effects of poison etc.)

Like most with powers in Manhatten, she'll only be able to use her healing powers a little before she finds her powers and herself exhausted.

As for her other abilities that deal with phantoms, they really wouldn't even come into play (unless she can confine shinigami I suppose lol) Even then, by just how her powers inately work, they are quite limited.

Weaknesses:

She is still but a child and while experienced with battle, she's still not a physical fighter. She has to rely largely on Ash and her other phantoms to keep her out of harms way. In and out of battle, she relies heavily on her guardian. Without Ash she’d be really lost.

She's a bit on the gullible side as she's really rather naive. She's by no means stupid, however, but she can get a little lost some times. She is sadly an easy prey for any who would take advantage of her due to her kind and giving nature.

Manhattanite or outsider? Outsider

History:

Marona’s parents worked together with Ash as chromas, but one day they came up against a powerful monster. All three of them dying, Marona’s father, Haze, used the last of his power to try to save Ash. His attempt wasn't able to fully save Ash, leaving him stuck between life and death as a phantom. Ash felt the least he could do was look after Marona, who inherited her parents ability to be a chroma, so he swore he would protect her always.

However, life wasn't easy for Marona. She was known as "The Possessed One" due to the phantoms that help her, particularly Ash.

Wanting to make sure she never lost her island (which she was renting) Marona went into the chroma business to earn the money she needed to buy her island for good. However, she quickly found resentment wherever she went. Despite that, she worked hard across Ivoire, attempting to gain the money she needed. Unfortunately, many of the people of Ivoire look down on her and fear her abilities.

Despite many setbacks, slowly she began to find new friends who accepted her, particularly a girl named Castile. Castile was a sickly girl, confined to her bed due to her illness. Her parents lacked the money to get her the care she really needed. Even though Castile's father tricked Marona out of money when Marona was doing a job they'd asked her to do, she forgave them as she had quickly befriended Castile, who would become her best friend.

After many jobs, some working out better than others, Marona was awarded with the money she would need to buy Phantom Island, but in the end, it was gifted to her.

At first Marona was content to relax in on her island and leave the Chroma business. But in the end she decided that God had given her her powers for a reason, and she wanted to continue to help people. As well as she felt her parents would want her to do that too.

So Marona and Ash continued to accept jobs. And slowly through their work more and more Marona's good deeds spread throughout Ivoire, more and more people coming to accept her, and Ash.

But all was not well in Ivoire. An evilness that had not been felt in Ivoire in some time began to stir. A powerful and evil monster called Sulphur was rumored to be the cause. Despite being defeated, it was said that it always found a way to return.

At first it's return was doubted, despite all the disasters and strange weather that was effecting the world, but soon proof was realized and the people of Ivoire set all their hopes and prayers on the young Marona who had finally managed to earn their respect.

With the help of many of her friends, and a very sad sacrifice, Sulphur was sealed away finally forever.

Until this one crazy witch in another N1 games decided to send him BACK to Ivoire. >O Damnit. S'all good though. You kill him again as a bonus boss.

That wasn't the end of their adventures, however. (Such as visits from a certain Overlord) Whatever was to happen, however, Marona and Ash would face it together.

There I think I'm doing this right. There's so many buttons. There's really nothing like this where I come from...

Someone told me everyone will be able to hear this. Is that true?

W-well, I guess then I should say hello and introduce myself. My name is Marona! I'm a chroma from Ivoire. U-um... I guess everyone wouldn't know what that is though...

Anyways, I'm not sure what else to say, ah ha... It's very nice to meet you all!

Third-person POV rp sample:

It was cold. Very cold. That was the first thing that came to her mind, as the girl began to gain conciousness. She couldn't begin to piece together exactly why it should be so cold. She hadn't been to Frigidia in some time, so why? Why was it so cold? She felt so weary and sleepy. Marona was very tempted to just drift back off, but it was difficult when she realized just how hard she was shaking. When had she started to shiver? Or had she always been?

Slowly, struggling as every part of her feeling numb from the cold, she pushed herself up into a kneeling position, prying her eyes open.

The ground was ice, snow and cement. Nothing recognisable to her in the least, and it only got worse when she looked up. Even as cold as she was, she let out a gasp. She'd never seen such tall buildings!

What had happened? Where was she? And even more importantly, where was Ash?

"A-Ash?" she called out softly, finding it difficult to find her voice. "Ash? Are you out there?"

When Ash didn't appear and there was no reply, she only then began to start panicking. Marona had been safe on her island. Everything was fine! She couldn't remember anything strange happening. This wasn't good! This wasn't good at all! Could she really be on her own? What should she do? Dressed in a simple summer dress, she had no protection from the cold.

"A-anyone out there?" she managed to call out again, hoping for some reply. Or else... or else she'd have to figure out what to do before she froze to death.
